We here at Todays Metal Detector have been active treasure hunting for over 20 years. Starting in the late 1980's I started with a used detector with very basic functions but grew a great desire to metal detecting. Out just doing my coin shooting at the local parks and schools I was bring home the coins. About the mid 1990's I started carrying Bounty Hunter Metal Detector in my retail store. With being part of metal detecting clubs and working the business, I added Fisher Metal Detectors also. Although I lived in a big community the word got out about me and metal detectors that I was contacted by insurance companies to help them in finding lost items, police department looking for help with a public relation with lost items. So with all this I was still able to do my personal metal detecting all over the United States and some of the boarding countries. Now in the 2000's still going at it, and adding to my treasure hunting finds.
